To help protect your forms from spam and abusive submissions, we offer built-in support for a variety of CAPTCHA services. Adding a CAPTCHA to your form helps ensure that only real users can submit responses.

Available CAPTCHA options

• Google reCAPTCHA
  We seamlessly integrate with Google reCAPTCHA to secure your forms. There’s no extra setup required on your part—we handle keys and domain whitelisting automatically via the Google API.

• Turnstile by Cloudflare
  To use Turnstile, you’ll need to provide your own site key and secret key. This option is great if you already have Turnstile set up for your website or want more direct control over your CAPTCHA settings.

• ALTCHA
  For users who prefer greater privacy, ALTCHA offers a privacy-friendly CAPTCHA experience. No personal data is collected, making it the best choice for users and visitors concerned about privacy.

How to enable CAPTCHA on your forms

1. Edit your form in the form builder.

2. Navigate to the settings and find the “Captcha” dropdown in the “General” section.

3. Select your preferred CAPTCHA option: Google reCAPTCHA, Turnstile, or ALTCHA.

4. If you’re using Turnstile:

   • Enter your site key and secret key within the workspace connection settings (https://deftform.com/settings/connect).

5. If you’re using Google reCAPTCHA:

   • No setup is necessary. We handle the keys and whitelisting for you.

6. If you’re using ALTCHA:

   • No further configuration is required.

7. Save your form settings to apply the changes.
